The Brazos Valley Kennel Club Annual Dog show is moving back in time! Our two-day event will be held two weeks earlier than our customary weekend at the end of March. Next year’s show weekend will be March 18th and 19th, 2017. The location will remain the same at the Grimes County Fairgrounds, and admission to the show is free as always. Come join us for a great time with dogs!
We’re glad you’re here!
The Brazos Valley Kennel Club is a licensed member of the American Kennel Club (AKC) local to the Brazos Valley area of Texas. We hold our meetings in College Station, TX, and present an annual AKC licensed dog show in Navasota, TX, every spring. Our membership represents a wide variety of dog-related interests and we’re committed to educating the public and sharing our dedication to purebred dogs.
Our meetings are generally the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in a classroom at Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine. You don’t need to be a member to attend. You don’t need to own an AKC registered dog, or even a purebred dog, to join the club. We often have an informative program of interest to all dog enthusiasts prior to our business meeting. More information about upcoming meetings and programs is posted on our news page.
The colored region in the map below includes the counties of the Brazos Valley: Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington. Our club members come from all parts of the Brazos Valley, and a few counties farther out.
